What does "customer" mean?
According to Article 2 of the Law on the Protection of Consumers' Rights and Interests, the rights and interests of consumers who purchase or use commodities or receive services for their daily consumption are protected by this Law. Matters not specified in this Law shall be protected by other relevant laws and regulations.
Article 3 Business operators shall abide by this Law when providing consumers with the goods or services they produce and sell. Where there are no provisions in this law, other relevant laws and regulations shall be observed.
According to consumer protection law
Article 62 The purchase and use of means of production directly used for agricultural production by farmers shall be implemented with reference to this Law.
Therefore, there are three types of consumer protection laws.
1. A consumer refers to a natural person who buys goods or receives services to meet the needs of life.
2. Business operators refer to natural persons, organizations or legal persons who provide goods or services to meet the needs of consumers.
3. Farmers can only buy and use the means of production directly used in agricultural production.
