What do words mean?

Monographs are Chinese characters with strokes as the direct unit. They are a whole, inseparable and evolved from pictures. Unique hieroglyphics and signifiers are the basis of combined characters.

Monographs account for a small proportion of temporary Chinese characters, and most Chinese characters are composed of two or more forms. However, the position of a word is very important, and it has not been used as an independent word since ancient times.

Moreover, most of them are components of combined Chinese characters, which, as radicals, form combined Chinese characters with strong word-formation ability, making a single Chinese character the core of the Chinese character system.

For example, there are more than 400 modern commonly used Chinese characters with "wood" as the radical. Others, such as "mouth, man, sun, earth, king, moon, horse, car, shell, fire, heart, stone, eye, field, insect, rice and rain", have a high frequency of word formation. After mastering these commonly used independent characters, it is not difficult to learn other Chinese characters.
