Every Spring Festival, no matter in the city or in the countryside, every family picks beautiful red spring scrolls and puts them on the door to say goodbye to the old and welcome the new, and to add to the festive atmosphere. Traditionally, spring scrolls are written with brushes, but nowadays they are usually made outside with machines. There are more types of spring couplets, including street door pairs and house door pairs.

The number of words in the upper and lower couplets should be equal. For example, "The New Year is rich and prosperous every year, and the good year is peaceful and high step by step."
