Representative works of folk songs in the Southern and Northern Dynasties

1, Xizhou Song is a folk song written by Wu Ming in the Southern Dynasties, which is contained in Yutai New Poetry and Yuefu Poetry. This is the longest lyric poem among Yuefu folk songs in the Southern Dynasties, which belongs to "Zaqu" and has always been regarded as the masterpiece of Yuefu folk songs in the Southern Dynasties. This poem describes a girl's bitter yearning for her beloved from early spring to late autumn, from reality to dream. It is full of rich flavor of life and vivid emotional color, showing the distinctive characteristics of Jiangnan water town and skillful performance skills. There are thirty-two sentences in the whole poem, and four sentences are explained. It is wonderful to connect truth with skillful techniques by conjunction.

2. Mulan Poetry is a Yuefu folk song sung in the Southern and Northern Dynasties in China. Guo Maoqian's Yuefu poems are classified as "songs across drums and corners" and are called "Yuefu Shuangzhen" together with Peacock Flying Southeast.

3. "Chile Song" is a Yuefu folk song that spread in the Northern Dynasty during the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Generally speaking, it is a poem translated from Xianbei into Chinese. This poem eulogizes the magnificent and rich scenery of the northern grassland and expresses Chileans' lofty sentiments of loving their hometown and life.
