Administrative divisions of Zhangpu County
1950, the Baojia system was abolished, and the county was divided into 99 townships. At the same time, the eighth district was added in Wujiang.

Xiban, Xixi, Tanqing, Changqiao and Xiping are under the jurisdiction of the third district (Guanxun District). In 65438+February of the same year, Guanxun District Office was moved to Changqiao District, renamed as Changqiao District, and Chaling Township was placed under the jurisdiction of Changqiao District of the original Pomegranate District. People's communes combine grass-roots political organizations and economic organizations into one. The commune has a management area, which has a production brigade. The county is divided into 50 administrative districts and 256 brigades.
1960 In May, Wujiang People's Commune was revoked and merged into the Old Town People's Commune. There are only nine people's communes in the county.
