Traditional host decline
The decline of traditional industries occurred in the 1970s, because the oil crisis caused by the Middle East War increased the cost of traditional manufacturing. The electronic industry, represented by microelectronics and integrated circuits, has developed rapidly because of various needs. On the one hand, investment is diverted by the electronics industry, on the other hand, the cost increases and the profit rate decreases, which leads to the decline of traditional industries.
As for the 1950s, it was because of the influence of World War II that a large number of industrial bases were destroyed. However, with the end of the war, the restoration and reconstruction of a large number of infrastructure has provided a broad market for traditional industries. In fact, the 1950s was a period of recovery and development of traditional industries.
