What does the cable-stayed bridge usually detect?

Inspection of cable-stayed bridge is the main means to ensure the safety of bridge structure. In practical engineering, the following items are mainly checked.

● Detection of dead load cable force of stay cables: compare the measured cable force with the cable force value after previous cable adjustment, that is, the other parameters of the cable-stayed bridge are unchanged by default, and only the cable force value changes. ● Visual inspection of stay cables: whether the PE protective layer on the surface of stay cables is damaged and whether the stay cables are corroded. Testing equipment: PG- 17-30 cable climbing robot.

● Bridge deck elevation detection: bridge deck alignment measurement, which measures the deviation between bridge deck height and previous measurement data. Testing equipment: DSZ2 level.

● Detection of main girder: mainly detect the line shape of main girder and the looseness, peeling, cracking and reinforcement exposure of main tower concrete. Testing equipment: wall-climbing robot, optical telescope.
