How to differentiate between squat toilet and shower area

A squat toilet is a rectangular toilet with a shower area that has a drain floor drain.

The squat toilet consists of a raised front stop at the front end, a long recessed groove in the center, a pedestal at the bottom of the front stop that extends along the groove, and the outer edge of the enclosure. The structure is to create a "watertight" environment in the corner of the sewer, thus avoiding the phenomenon of odor backflow. The shower area has a small drain in the basement, so it is easy to distinguish between the two.

Some washrooms are squatting toilets and shower area as a whole, so it is easy to drop something into the pit, if the squatting toilet location is not reasonable, the shower is easy to step on the pit. People who are used to using the toilet, or have pregnant women or elderly people with leg difficulties, may not be very suitable for squatting toilets.
