Is the feudal mindset and women's weakness the main cause of domestic violence?

(1) Low economic status is the main cause of domestic violence. If one party has no economic status, he or she becomes subordinate to the other. Once they have absolute power in the family, this unrestricted power expands over time, becoming mesmerized by money and venting more unhappiness on each other. Because women do not directly create value for themselves, women also have to fulfill their obligations to support their children, husbands and families in social life, and women also feel unfair, so if they cannot handle the conflicts between them well, domestic violence will occur.

(2) Male superiority is an important cause of domestic violence. In traditional family education, man is the master of the family. The feudal ideology of "three subordinates and four virtues" is y rooted, and the unshakeable status of human beings creates human hegemony. Women's vulnerability is reflected in several ways: first, a weak sense of decision-making in the family; second, an inferiority complex between men and women in the feudal sense; third, being too busy with household chores all day long to participate in society; and, fourth, often adopting an approach that accommodates men's mistakes. Over time, men's consciousness and women's weakness provide a breeding ground for domestic violence.

(3) Social environment pollution is the external cause of domestic violence. Due to the negative influence of bad social atmosphere, some people lose their morality and ethics, greedy for pleasure, pursuing money and beauty, outsourcing "mistress", keeping mistresses, and have no sense of responsibility for marriage and family, which ultimately lead to the deterioration of the relationship between husband and wife and become the enemy.

(4) Weak grassroots defense and control. A considerable number of people believe that domestic violence is a private matter within the family. It is difficult to solve if others do not intervene appropriately, that is to say, "it is difficult for a clean official to resolve family affairs", which makes the perpetrators of domestic violence rarely sanctioned, thus contributing to the growth of domestic violence.

(5) Offenders have low levels of culture and education and are poorly qualified. Some have misconceptions and bad habits about life, forming mental illnesses and character defects that do not value violence.
