What is the difference between online banking and handheld banking
Internet banking, also known as online banking, online banking or e-banking, is a virtual counter set up by banks on the Internet. Banks use Internet technology to provide customers with traditional services such as account opening, transfer, credit, online securities, etc., so that customers can safely and conveniently manage their accounts without leaving home. It is characterized by the fact that customers with an account number and password can access online banking via the Internet to process transactions around the globe. There are two models of online banking. One is invisible e-banking, also known as "virtual banking", which relies entirely on the Internet; by virtual banking, we mean online banking that is not supported by a physical counter. This online bank generally has only one office address, no branches and no business outlets. It utilizes the Internet and other high-tech service means to establish close contact with customers and provide a full range of financial services. Take the United States Security First Online Bank as an example. It was founded in October 1995. It is the first virtual online bank in the United States without a business network. Its business office is a webpage screen. At that time, the bank had only 19 employees, and the main work was the maintenance and management of the network. Secondly, on the basis of existing traditional banks, the Internet is utilized to carry out traditional banking transaction services. That is, traditional banks utilize the Internet as a new means of service to provide online services to their customers. It is actually an extension of traditional banking services on the Internet. This is the main form of online banking and is the mode of online banking development adopted by most commercial banks.
Handheld Bank is the personal Internet banking and financial management software of China Merchants Bank. Handheld bank users can transfer funds and comprehensive financial management through mobile terminals. Handheld bank provides transfer and remittance, easy loan, e-commerce, financial analysis and other functions.
