Does anyone know what Chinese medicine is processed into?
The classification of traditional Chinese medicine processing is artificial. The main purpose is to facilitate learning and production application, which requires science, system and integrity. Common classification methods are as follows:
1. Classification method based on combination of medicinal parts and processing methods: In the preface of Compendium of Materia Medica by Liang Tao Hongjing, it is recorded that "anyone who uses cinnamon, magnolia bark, Eucommia bark, cortex fraxini and magnolia bark is wrongly called broken soft armor". Refers to the leather medicine after removing the cork layer. This classification method is the beginning of processing classification. Features: After knowing the medicinal parts of the medicine, the processing method can be quickly determined. When establishing the processing method of specific drugs, it is not rigorous and meticulous.
2. Classification according to the source of medicinal parts: The Prescription of Taiping Huimin Hejiju in Song Dynasty classified the processing of each medicine according to the source attributes of gold, stone, grass, wood, water, fire and fruit. The reference books such as "Processing Standard of Traditional Chinese Medicine" are mostly classified by medicinal parts, and the processing method of each medicine is as follows. This feature is easy to find. However, it does not reflect the systematicness of processing technology, which is not conducive to learning.
3. The Seventeen Methods of Lei Gong's Processing: Due to historical changes, the connotation of this classification method is difficult to express accurately now, but it reflects the general situation of traditional Chinese medicine processing before the Ming Dynasty. The seventeen methods are: burning, roasting, simmering, frying, calcining, refining, making, measuring, flying, squatting, simmering, roasting, weighing, exposing, exposing and evil.
4. Three categories and five categories of classification: The three categories of classification were put forward by Chen Jiamo in Ming Dynasty, that is, taking water system, fire system and fire-water system as the key links to guide the processing of various traditional Chinese medicines. This method can reflect the characteristics of processing, but it can't include all the contents of processing. The five classification methods include: processing, water processing, fire processing, water-fire processing and other processing methods (water-fire processing), which basically summarizes all processing methods, systematically reflects the processing technology of drugs and can guide production practice more effectively.
5. Classification of Pharmacopoeia: The General Rules for Processing Medicinal Materials contained in Appendix I of China Pharmacopoeia adopts clean preparation, cutting, processing, flying water and frosting.
6. Classification of the combination of technology and auxiliary materials: This classification can better reflect the systematicness and orderliness of the processing technology of traditional Chinese medicine, which can not only reflect the whole processing process, but also facilitate the description of the role of auxiliary materials in drugs, and is generally adopted by teaching materials.
