What is the Guangzhou Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Resident Identity Card Policy

Legal analysis: Guangzhou Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents ID card policy refers to the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Fiscal Subsidies for Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies in Guangzhou Municipality Regarding Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area". The measures include the following materials to be submitted when applying for financial subsidies: a copy of the valid identification document of the applicant; Hong Kong, Macao permanent residents and mainland residents who go to Hong Kong and Macao to settle in Hong Kong and Macao to submit Hong Kong and Macao Resident Identity Cards; permanent residents of the Taiwan region to submit Taiwan Resident Identity Cards and so on.

Legal basis: "Interim Measures of Guangzhou Municipality on the Administration of Fiscal Subsidy on Preferential Policies for Individuals' Income Tax in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area"

Article 1 In order to build the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area, and to standardize the administration of the fiscal subsidy on preferential policies for individuals' income tax in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area, according to the "Circular of the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation on Preferential Policies for Individuals' Income Tax in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Area" ([2019]31 ), the Provincial Department of Finance and the Provincial Taxation Bureau's Notice on Implementing the Preferential Policies on Individual Income Tax in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong Cai Shui [2019] No. 2), and in light of the actual situation of Guangzhou City, these measures are formulated.

Second Article This Measures shall apply to the implementation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Individual Income Tax Preferential Policies related to the scope of financial subsidies, subsidy procedures, and supervision and inspection in Guangzhou City.
