How to use sewing machine

1. When not in use, cover the machine head with cloth or cloth cover to avoid falling dust.

2. Main parts, such as edging, edge core sleeve, etc. It should be rustproof.

3. When practicing empty car, the presser foot should be lifted to avoid wearing the tooth surface of the feeder and the presser foot bottom plate.

4. The edge bed is most likely to accumulate impurities such as thread ends and cloth scraps, which will affect the normal rotation of the machine. After short-term use, the bed should be taken out, wiped clean and then installed. When using the machine, pay attention to the correct and flat installation to prevent the needle from breaking.

5. Strictly prevent cloth, thread or other things from being caught in the belt, which will hinder the normal rotation of the machine.

6. When oiling, in addition to oiling through the oil holes, the sliding part inside the machine should also be oiled.

7. The needle on the sewing machine rusts most easily. You can wrap some cotton or lime powder in a small piece of flannel to make a small cloth bag, then insert the needle into the small cloth bag and pull it out when using it, so that it won't rust and it will be smooth when using it.

8. After oiling the sewing machine, be sure to sew a few stitches on the absorbent paper rolled into 2-3 layers. In this way, the absorbent paper can absorb excess oil.

9. When the needle doesn't eat rubber and plastic, it will become easy to use as long as it is rubbed with a wax head where it runs.

10. After entering the rainy season, sewing machines should not be idle for a long time. Online at least once every 6-7 days, so that the moisture on the surface can be blown off when the machine rotates.

Pedal driving

Firstly, put the sewing part under the presser foot, which can slightly press the sewing material to make the sewing material move smoothly. When you start pedaling the sewing machine, the speed should be slow, and then accelerate after you start. Don't run in vain after pedaling. If you want to run empty, you must lift the presser foot, otherwise it will increase the friction between the cloth feeder and the presser foot. Practice driving, you can use paper or waste cloth instead. To sew formally, you must first send sewing materials and then step on the car.

This is the main stage of sewing, and the sewing of sewing materials is mainly completed in the process of operation. Mastering the low speed, medium speed and high speed operation of sewing machine is the main skill in using sewing machine. The determination of these three speeds is based on the highest speed of sewing machine 1000 rpm. Generally speaking, the low speed is below 400 rpm, the medium speed is between 400 and 700 rpm, and the high speed is between 700- 1000 rpm. In fact, it is impossible for the sewing machine to run at full speed, and the high speed is above 700 revolutions. The control of various running speeds mainly depends on the thickness and length of sewing materials, which can only be mastered in long-term practice.

It is the stop or pause of sewing work. Stop in case of sewing completion, sewing machine failure, unqualified sewing, shuttle loading, needle change, upper and lower line interchange, sewing machine lubrication, sewing machine cleaning and scrubbing.

The use of sewing machine should be cleaned and lubricated frequently to ensure the normal operation of the machine.

1. Cleaning of sewing machine

(1) Cleaning of feeding teeth Remove the screw between the needle plate and feeding teeth, remove lint and dust, and add a small amount of sewing machine oil.

(2) Shuttle bed cleaning Shuttle bed is the core of sewing machine work, and it is also the most prone to failure. So always remove dirt and add a small amount of sewing machine oil.

(3) Cleaning of other parts All parts in the surface and panel of the sewing machine should be cleaned frequently.

2. Lubrication of sewing machine

Special sewing machine oil must be used. The sewing machine should be fully oiled after continuous use for one or several days. If you refuel between uses, the machine should idle for one turn, so that the oil can be fully saturated and the excess oil can be thrown out, and then the machine head and table top should be wiped clean with a clean soft cloth to avoid polluting sewing materials. Then thread to sew the rag, wipe it with the action of sewing thread, and throw out excess oil stains until there are no oil stains on the rag, and then formally sew it.

There are (1) oil holes on the machine head to lubricate the upper shaft and the parts connected with the upper shaft. (2) Components inside the panel and movable components connected with each component. Lubricate the presser foot bar, needle bar and their connecting parts. (3) Clean the moving parts at the lower part of the machine board, and add less oil.

There is no need to add too much oil to each oil injection hole and oil injection part, just add one or two drops.

Secondly, the maintenance of sewing machines should also pay attention to the following points:

1. After the work is completed, insert the needle into the pinhole plate, lift the presser foot, and cover the machine head with a hood to prevent dust from invading.

2. When starting work, first check the main parts, how heavy it is to step on it, whether there is any special sound, whether the pointer is normal, etc. If abnormal phenomena are found, they should be repaired in time.

The machine has been used for a long time and should be overhauled. If worn parts are found, replace them with new ones.
