How to stack cards

The way to stack playing cards is as follows:

1. Start with a relatively new deck of playing cards. Old cards with lots of creases or slippery brand new playing cards are not suitable. A nice pattern on the cards would be the icing on the cake.

2. Take out two playing cards. Separate the bottoms of the cards by about 5cm and place the tops of the cards together to form an inverted "V", or a small triangle. Try to find the balance point so that they can stand without any external force.

3. Build another small triangle next to it, about 1cm apart.

4. Take a card and place it on top of the two small triangles.

5. Build another small triangle on top of the card you just covered horizontally, so you have two layers.

6. Add another small triangle next to the bottom triangle and build upwards as before. Generally speaking, the number of triangles at the bottom is the number of layers you can build. Three triangles at the bottom is three, four is four, and so on.

7, build another triangle, cover a layer, you are almost to the top.

8, and then finally at the top of the two cards, the pyramid is done, if you want to do a little bigger pyramid, the bottom of the column on the more rows of several.

The origin of the cards

Invented by the Tang Dynasty astronomer Zhang Sui, initially called "leaf play", because the cards are only as big as leaves. In the Song Dynasty, Ouyang Xiu, a writer, also wrote about "leaf play" in his "Records of Returning to the Field", which was developed from a word game. During the Yuan Dynasty, Marco Polo traveled to China and for a long time held an official position at the Chinese court, where he became close to upper-class intellectuals and learned the game.

Then it spread to Europe. At first, it was only a luxury for the aristocracy, but because it was cheap, easy to play and easy to learn, it soon became popular among the people. Europeans according to their own culture and tradition, the card game improved, and eventually appeared "poker".
