How do you rate the movie "The Odd Couple"?

The movie "Qi Men Dun Jia" is praiseworthy for its effect special effects, but flawed in terms of plot setting.

The movie's 3D effects and special effects scenes are praiseworthy, with fight scenes stamped with Yuen Woo-ping style of quickness and ferocity while not losing the beauty of floating, many monsters beautifully styled, and exceptionally shocking battle scenes.

The film opens much like the movie "Journey to the West," with chapter-and-verse movie segments in the editing that take you completely out of context.

But in the context of the movie, the contradictions are generally constructed and the origins and whereabouts of the demons are set up in a rather vague manner. Characterization is too thin and flat, and the portrayals of Xiaoyuan and Knife Yichang lack depth and insight.
