Principle of charcoal carbonization furnace

Charcoal carbonization furnace includes airflow carbonization furnace and dry distillation carbonization furnace. At present, the environment-friendly carbonization furnace is widely used. Let's talk about the carbonization principle of dry distillation carbonization furnace from KONE machinery.

The carbonization furnace takes the self-produced gas furnace as the heat source, and uses biogas to enter the burner through the cyclone separator. The outlet temperature of the burner can reach 800℃ ~ 1200℃, and the flow rate can reach 3 ~ 5 meters per second. The generated high-temperature airflow is heated at the periphery of the combustion chamber. It should be noted that when heating, the furnace temperature is 100℃ ~ 150℃. 1700kg raw materials can bring in more than 100 kg water, which is the enemy of carbonization. Because the raw material rod of machine-made carbon is most afraid of being wet, it will be ground into powder when it is wet, which seriously affects the carbonization quality. Therefore, dehumidification system is an essential key. Dehumidification time is 1 ~ 1.5 hours. When the temperature of the carbonization chamber rises to 3000, in theory, three cubic meters of methane gas can be produced per kilogram of raw materials, which can be used as a heat source for carbonization and drying. The furnace temperature can be adjusted at will. Generally, the medium-temperature carbon is above 400℃ (8 hours) and the high-temperature carbon is above 600℃ (10 hour).

Combustion produces a lot of heat, which makes the furnace temperature rise, and wood materials are dry distilled into charcoal at high temperature.

I hope I can help you. There are vertical and horizontal carbonizer.
