Essay "Ancient meeting to see and hear

Every year, shortly after the Spring Festival, on the 28th and 29th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, is the time when the Gu Hui in Slide County, Henan Province is the most lively. We go back almost every year to see it, because my grandma's house is in Daokou, and she takes part in the rice-planting performance every year.

Last year's festival was on a weekend, so we went back to see the festival again, and this time, my grandma and mom participated in the festival.

On the morning of the 29th, at dawn, grandma and mom started to get ready to dress up. Grandma put on a green rice-planting clothes, waist tied with a red silk belt, and a beautiful fan in one hand, I and grandma and mom ate breakfast and went to the Dadongguan Fire Shrine, because grandma and mom want to make up there. Grandma was wearing light makeup, while mom was wearing the same makeup as she was singing. I watched carefully as the makeup artist applied a layer of white powder on my mother's face, which was really scary! But in a short while, the make-up artist drew red circles on my mom's face, which my mom said was the base color. Finally, my mom's face was painted, and it was so beautiful! Mom put on her performance clothes and got ready for the show with her grandma. Grandma started to twist the rice-planting songs. She was very fat, but her body was very flexible when she twisted the rice-planting songs, and grandma was very happy. I also helped my grandmother's rice-planting team to beat the drums, and I also beat the beat with the rhythm.

The festival started at eleven in the morning, and every street in Daokou was crowded with people who came from different places to see the festival. There are many kinds of performances in the festival, such as back pavilion, bamboo horse, stilt walker, fire dragon, martial arts, flower boat, bamboo horse, baguazhou, etc. My favorite is my grandma's twisting and turning. My favorite is the grandmother twisted rice-planting songs and gossip autumn. In the evening, out of the meeting more, we just came out, we watched the lion dance show. Later, we went to the stilt walking show, a few people on stilts will also jump on the table. After the stilt walker show, another grandfather started to tell jokes, and made us all laugh!

The ancient festival in Dokou is really nice! It's just that it wasn't held on a weekend this year, so I didn't get to go, and I'm going to go back next year!
