1, Guangzhou Tianhe Park
Tianhe Park is characterized by natural ecological landscape. Shih Sacred Heart Cathedral was built in 1863, completed in 1888. It took 25 years to complete and has a history of over 130 years. Because all the walls and pillars of the church are made of granite, it is also known as the "Stone Room" or "Stone Room of the Sacred Heart of Jesus". The stone sits north to south, 35 meters wide from east to west, 78.69 meters deep from north to south, 58.5 meters high from the ground to the tip of the tower, with a total floor area of 2,754 square meters.
After the Second Opium War, a foreign mission from Paris, France, came to Guangzhou to preach, and Ming Zhang Ji, the pastoral bishop at that time, took a fancy to this place (the former site of the Office of the Governor of the two Cantons). on January 25, 1861, the Qing government signed an agreement between Prince Qiyi of the Qing dynasty and the French government, confirming the establishment of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Guangzhou. Emperor Xianfeng also issued an imperial edict approving the agreement to build the Sacred Heart Cathedral on this ruin: "From now on, war must always cease and peace must always be sincerely defended!" Liu Huahu Park is located in Guangzhou City, south of Liuhuahu Road, north of Dongfeng West Road, adjacent to the Guangzhou Railway Station, covering an area of 544,300 square meters. in October 1959 officially opened to the public. The park lake area of 313,700 square meters, is one of the four major artificial lakes in Guangzhou. It still retains the functions of flood storage and drainage and sewage regulation of Simachung. It is named after the Liu Hua Bridge in the northeast of the lake, a historical site from the Two Han Dynasty. Xiaogang Park is a professional park with bamboo forests. The park is located in the southwestern end of Qianjin Road, Haizhu District, formerly known as "Bamboo Park". 1958 was established in 1960 to the current name. 1972, the double pavilion, square pavilion and other pavilions, bridges, pavilions, lakeshore has been built, used for landscaping. 8, Guangzhou Xiaozhou Village
Zhou Xiao Village is located in the southeast end of Guangzhou City, Haizhu District, south of the Pearl River, across the river from Panyu, east of Pai Fang River, and Guanzhou Island, Luntou relative to the north-west of the village of Tuhua. Zhouxiao Village was built in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties. It is the most Lingnan water village found so far in Guangzhou city area, "Zhou Xiao", known as Guangzhou's "Nanfei".
To feel the tranquility and idleness of "Guangfu Water Town", why don't you slow down and be a prospective guest here? Walking in the village, the river meandering intertwined, small bridges and water, different forms, solemn ancestral halls in order, the old palace temple simple and elegant, uneven, a traditional residential, like a painting in ink and water, a small stream, green trees, gray walls, tiles and so on. The most striking thing about Zhouxiao Village is its ancient oyster shell house. The house was built by local ancestors who dug oyster shells from the shore and mixed them with yellow mud.
