What is the meaning of Mingqian Golden Bud
Mingqian Golden Buds is a high quality Longjing tea, which means it is made from the first small tea buds of the next year, i.e. the "Mingqian" period. The term "golden bud" means that each leaf of this tea has fine hairs that shine with a golden color, and the shape is as slender as a small fire dragon. This tea is highly favored by tea drinkers because of its unique production and quality.
The pre-mingqian golden bud is very strictly determined by multi-faceted elements such as weather, tea plantation, time, and craftsmanship. First, it needs to be picked right after the first rains end, right at the time of Qingming, during the pre-grain rain. The tea trees selected for picking should have some special requirements, for example, they must be 2-3 years old shoots after rigorous pruning and trimming processes. The young tea must not be too thick, not too thin, and the color of the tea leaves must not be too dark, only then will the picked tea buds have a silky texture and a sweet taste.
It is clear that the Mingqian golden buds are not only quite distinctive in terms of texture, but also in terms of aroma and taste during the tea tasting process. In the preparation process, the Mingqian Gold Sprout adopts the traditional hand-frying technology, coupled with the Biluochun-style eighteen folds and the Longjing-style three folds, frying it out of an elegant and light aroma. And when you taste it, Mingqian Golden Buds has a long and clear aroma, a sweet taste, a long throat, and a long aftertaste, which makes you savor it.
