The Cathedral of the Holy Family, or the Church of the Holy Family for short, is Gaudi's most famous work. He devoted his life's talent and inspiration to this great church, making it the greatest and unique masterpiece in the history of church architecture. Anyone who has traveled in Europe knows that any city will have a magnificent, majestic, imposing, or exquisite church, which, to a certain extent, more or less has a very similar temperament. The Church of the Holy Family, on the other hand, is a big special case that stands out! Its complex curves, its unpredictability, its intimidation, its ingenuity, is never find another building can be comparable. So come to Spain, come to Barcelona, must come to see this church.

Antonio. Gaudi, who never married, contributed 43 years to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, and then lived directly on the church's construction site until he died in 1926 after being hit by a car. At the time he was dressed in rags, passers-by thought he was a vagrant, but later found out that it was Gaudi held a grand funeral for him and buried him in the ground floor of his unfinished Church of the Holy Family.

The church was built in 1884, 126 years ago, and is still in the process of being built. It's not expected to be finished until 2030, but based on the pace of work in Spain and what's left to be done, I'm guessing it's unlikely to be completed on time. It's easy to see Barcelona from a distance, as you can see in the photo below, with its several spires on the right. It's like it's rising out of the ground and looking down on the rest of the city.
