How to embody "student-centered, teacher-centered"

"Teachers as the leading factor and students as the main body" is the basic requirement for fully implementing quality education. In order to make students develop in an all-round, active and lively way, educators must always take students as the main body in teaching activities.

First of all, students should be the main body of teaching goal design.

The success of a class is judged by whether the teacher's teaching objectives are reasonable and appropriate, and whether the students' learning activities meet the requirements of the objectives. The design of teaching objectives should first reflect the student-centered thinking, and to reflect the student-centered thinking in the design of teaching objectives, we must consider the changes that students' internal abilities and emotions should undergo through certain teaching activities, as well as what students should do and how to do it in order to promote these changes-this is actually a lesson preparation problem.

Second, students are the main body of classroom time arrangement.

Traditional teaching is based on the class teaching system, and the teaching process is mainly infusion and teacher-oriented. Teachers either talk to the end, talk endlessly and ask questions to the end, or ask questions instead of talking, and sometimes even ask themselves and answer them. In this way, students' thinking runs on the teacher's language track from beginning to end, becoming "listeners" and "bystanders" rather than participants in classroom teaching.

Third, students are the main body in organizational form.

In traditional teaching, students are in a state of passive acceptance, and there are few organizational forms of free learning and free discussion. This rigid and formal learning atmosphere has undoubtedly become the shackles of students' learning. In order to change this situation and implement quality education, teachers must give students the initiative to learn in classroom teaching and realize the role transformation from "protagonist" to "supporting role".

Fourth, students are the main body in the teaching process.

In the teaching process, students should be truly the main body, teachers should "teach students in accordance with their aptitude" and "teach" to "learn", so as to realize four changes: ① passive acceptance centered on teachers should be transformed into active participation centered on students; ② Mechanical learning based on memory has been transformed into meaningful learning based on deep understanding; (3) Simple knowledge learning is transformed into multi-faceted learning of knowledge methods, abilities and attitudes.
