Where does Fuan Village belong?

The village was formed in the Ming Dynasty, formerly known as Huangtupo. After the war in the late Ming dynasty, the meaning of "living and working in peace and contentment is happiness" was changed to Fuan. The whole village covers an area of 1. 1 km2, with a permanent population of 1.387, showing a strip-shaped settlement extending in the north-south direction.

Traditional village buildings: The main buildings are the Hall of Sorrow built in the 10th year of Yongzheng, the Guan Sheng Palace built in the 14th year of Guangxu and the traditional buildings built in the Qing Dynasty. Fuan Village belongs to an administrative village in Jincheng Town, Jinning County. The village faces south and is built on the mountain. There is a sidewalk paved with green slate in the middle of the village. This section of the road has always been the only way for villagers to go in and out, and it is also the place where the village goes to market, so it can also be called the old street in the village. On both sides of the street are traditional houses with civil structures and tile roofs. Some houses also have beautifully carved Joinery Work, and the patio is paved with bluestone slabs, which has certain historical and artistic value, relatively complete preservation and relatively concentrated buildings.

Geographical location and pattern of the village: Fuan village belongs to subtropical plateau monsoon climate, with annual average temperature 14.7℃, annual average precipitation of 904 mm and relative humidity of 65%. Located in bazi, central Yunnan, it has abundant sunshine and abundant vegetation. The main tree species is Pinus yunnanensis and the soil is red sandy soil, which is suitable for planting rice, vegetables and flowers. Built on the mountain, there is a green slate paved road in the middle of the village. Fuan Village is adjacent to Chengbei Community, Chengnan Community, Yizhou Community, Beimen Village, Ximen Village, Nanmen Village, Dongmen Village, Caocun Village, Xiaohai Village, Yonghe Village, Chaihe Village, Tianchengmen Village, Xinzhuang Village and Xiaozhai Village.

On August 26th, 20 13, Fuan village was included in the second batch of traditional villages in China.
