What is the English of Hanfu?
Because Hanfu is a traditional costume in China, you can directly pinyin Chinese Hanfu, but it is easy for foreigners to understand. To explain it, you can say Hanfu, for example, Hanfu made of China silk.
Hanfu, the full name of which is "the traditional costume of the Han nationality", is not the costume in the narrow sense of the Han Dynasty, nor the costume defined in modern times, but the unique costume culture of China culture, which lasted from thousands of years ago to the end of the Ming Dynasty and even to the Republic of China.
Characteristics of Hanfu
Hanfu has many characteristics, mainly including right lapel, large lapel, take off coat belt, lace-up buckle and so on.
All Hanfu jackets with cross collars are in the form of horizontal collar and right slit, and the left cover and right slit reach the wearer's right waist. Although the sleeve-shaped Hanfu is cut flat, the material used is far greater than the need to cover the human body.
The sleeves of typical Hanfu are wide and long, not only in diameter but also in length, so that the wearer can hang down without revealing his hands and save considerable length.
Hidden lace: Early clothes were tied with belts, and later there was the practice of sewing lace on clothes. In addition to practicality and decoration, the belt also symbolizes the identity, status and power of the wearer.
