I want to change some Republic of China porcelain.
?
The Republic of China is a dark period in the history of China. The development of porcelain in the Republic of China was not rapid, but there were also many well-made masterpieces. Besides, it is often mysterious because it is related to some important events in modern China. Especially with the popularity of porcelain collection market in recent years, the attention of porcelain in the Republic of China is increasing day by day. What are the characteristics of porcelain in the Republic of China?
First, fetal glaze
Compared with Ming and Qing porcelains, the fetal quality of porcelains in the Republic of China is relatively loose, the combination of porcelain glaze and fetal bone is not close enough, and bubbles or deglaze often appear on the glaze surface. In the early Republic of China, porcelain was fine and thick, and the combination of fetal glaze was mostly yellow, but most porcelain in the late Qing Dynasty did not have this feature.
Second, the process
In the early years of the Republic of China, the production mode of porcelain handicraft industry began to change from porcelain workshop to porcelain company, from traditional manual production to modern mechanized production. The model of machine-made porcelain is relatively uniform and standardized, but it is also a bit dull, especially for ordinary commercial daily-use coarse porcelain. Porcelain tires in the Republic of China have obvious modern porcelain texture, high whiteness and hardness. Especially as a major feature of porcelain in the Republic of China, gold lacquer is usually carried out at the mouth of the vessel, the spout, the ear of the bottle, the arhat porcelain statue, the bottom payment and so on.
Third, the pattern
Porcelain in the Republic of China used chemical pigments, so most of the colors were flashy. The drawing method of daily coarse porcelain is labor-saving, often cutting corners, and the stick figure method is often used. In the period of the Republic of China, apart from mechanical mud refining, blank making and molding, the biggest change was the use of decal paper, which greatly improved the productivity of porcelain.
The decorative techniques of porcelain in the Republic of China are mainly painting, with rich and colorful contents, including figures, flowers, landscapes, birds and animals, Bo Gu and other patterns. Decorative patterns have also changed from landscapes, figures and flowers to paintings and poems. However, the painting styles and patterns of this period did not break away from the painting characteristics of the Qing Dynasty. However, the design and content still have obvious characteristics of the times. Porcelain paintings in the Republic of China are popular auspicious patterns in the Qing Dynasty, and there are also some contents to publicize current affairs and political opinions.
