The Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Traditional Chinese Medicine was formally implemented on July 1 2065438. People's Republic of China (PRC) Chinese Medicine Law is a law that inherits and promotes Chinese medicine, safeguards and promotes the development of Chinese medicine and protects people's health.

Traditional Chinese medicine is the general name of all ethnic medicines in China, including those of the Han nationality and ethnic minorities. It is a medical and pharmaceutical system that reflects people's understanding of life, health and diseases in China, with a long history and unique theory and technical methods.

Traditional Chinese medicine is an important part of medical and health undertakings in China. The state vigorously develops the cause of traditional Chinese medicine, implements the policy of paying equal attention to both Chinese and western medicine, establishes a management system that conforms to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, and gives full play to the role of traditional Chinese medicine in China's medical and health undertakings.

The development of traditional Chinese medicine should follow the development law of traditional Chinese medicine, adhere to the combination of inheritance and innovation, maintain and give play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, and use modern science and technology to promote the development of theory and practice of traditional Chinese medicine.

The state encourages Chinese medicine and western medicine to learn from each other, complement each other, develop in a coordinated way, give play to their respective advantages, and promote the integration of Chinese and western medicine.

The people's governments at or above the county level shall incorporate the cause of Chinese medicine into the national economic and social development plan, establish and improve the management system of Chinese medicine, and promote the overall development of Chinese medicine.

The competent department of traditional Chinese medicine in the State Council is responsible for the management of traditional Chinese medicine throughout the country. Other relevant departments in the State Council are responsible for the work related to the management of traditional Chinese medicine within their respective functions and duties.

The competent departments of traditional Chinese medicine of local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the administration of traditional Chinese medicine within their respective administrative areas. Other relevant departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall be responsible for the work related to the administration of traditional Chinese medicine within the scope of their respective duties.

The state strengthens the construction of Chinese medicine service system, rationally plans and allocates Chinese medicine service resources, and provides protection for citizens to obtain Chinese medicine services.

The state supports social forces to invest in the cause of Chinese medicine, and supports organizations and individuals to donate and fund the cause of Chinese medicine.
