Does anyone know Bumac Vitas from Russia?
/read.php?tid=142029
Vitas has attracted a lot of interest from the media and the public with his intense mystery since the very beginning of his career. He never gives any media interviews and no one knows his real name. For his ability to sing to the heights that even sopranos can hardly reach, there are rumors that this is due to the fact that Vitas is a castrato. However, this is no longer a popular theory, as his everyday mannerisms are no different from those of a normal male. The vast majority of people believe that he simply sings in the voice of a castrato, and that his extremely wide vocal range is a gift.
Besides the "castrato theory," there are other equally sensationalized claims about Vitas.
"Alien theory": Vitas is rumored to be an alien because his voice reaches heights unattainable by a human male, and Vitas himself prefers to wear bright silver metallic outfits at his concerts.
"Fish theory": This theory was put forward by a Russian journalist. Since Vitas loves fish and keeps various kinds of goldfish for fun, rumor has it that he has gills on his cheeks, which allow him to change his breath while making sounds like a fish.
"Reincarnation of a Sage": Vitas visited Tibet in June 2004 and sang for many monks from India. Since interviews were not allowed at the venue, rumors swirled afterward. According to some of the monks, many sacred Buddhist objects in the temple flew up when Vitas sang, and it was claimed that Vitas was the reincarnation of a great 11th-century Indian poet, musician and philosopher.
Vitas is said to usually live in a basement, sleeping during the day before coming out at night to compose and exercise.
While Vitas has not been rumored to be romantically involved with anyone so far, there are many indications that he is most likely gay or bisexual.
Those rumors aside, some of the things that are known about Vitas include the fact that he is the youngest singer in history (at age 19) to have held a solo concert in the Kremlin, and that, in addition to his exceptional singing talent, Vitas himself is a talented fashion designer who has created outfits for his own concerts that have been praised by leading fashion designers.

Brief biography
Vitas was born on February 19, 1981 in Latvia. As a child, he learned to play the organ under the influence of his grandfather, under whom he performed regularly as an amateur in Odessa, located in Ukraine. In his teens (the exact year is still uncertain) he entered the Odessa Conservatory. The director of the conservatory at the time, Anatoly Padorka, marveled that Vitas was "a gift from heaven.
The man who discovered Vitas in Odessa was the famous Russian music producer Sergei Pudovkin. After hearing Vitas on tape in Odessa, Pudovkin exclaimed that he had "discovered a genius of Russian music". Soon after, Vitas traveled to Moscow with Pudovkin and officially began making his way onto the Russian music scene under the stage name Vitas.
Vitas became a worldwide pop star after his hugely successful concert at the Kremlin in 2000. His hit song Опера #2 became Russia's most popular single of the year. In this single, Vitas demonstrated his powerful range across five octaves. After hearing Vitas sing "Opera #2," Pugacheva, the famous singer known as the "godmother of Russian music," said, "I was so excited that I wept, both for the music and for his performance."
To date, Vitas*** has released seven albums, all sung in Russian. As of early 2005, he had performed more than 1,000 solo concerts in 16 countries****. By the beginning of 2005, he had sold more than 10 million CDs of his albums. Vitas is also known for touring on an unprecedented scale, with his themed "Songs of My Mother" tour spanning Russia, the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Israel and the Baltic States in 2004-2005, with over 250 performances so far. More than 250 shows have been performed so far, and the tour is expected to last until October 2006.
Besides his singing career, some of Vitas' other moves remain notable. These include:
In 2002, Vitas and his producer, Sergei Pudovkin, joined the management board of the World Federation Council's "Intelligence Without Drugs" organization at the organization's personal invitation and became honorary members. The membership of the organization also includes all the Russian Patriarchs and Prime Ministers of more than 20 countries. During the purification ceremony at the foot of the holy mountain Tashtar-Ata, Vitas was honored with the 350-million-year-old "World Stone". Legend has it that this stone has absorbed all the good things that have ever happened to mankind around the world.
On September 29, 2002, Vitas held his fashion show "Autumn Dreams" on the stage of the Kremlin. The show*** consisted of 42 women's outfits, some of which have already been shown in Alma-Ata, Vilnius, Berlin, Tashkent, Tel Aviv, and Ashkelon. Now Mr. Pudovkin is negotiating with Western companies to promote the Vitas brand and arrange for a line of costumes.
In December 2002, Vitas appeared in a television series based on Mrs. Dusova's novel "The Beloved Villain". He played the role of an artist who comes to the capital from a provincial town and causes a sensation on the pop stage with his unique voice and songs.Vitas composed two songs for the music of the movie. During the shooting the producer of this series asked Sergei Pudovkin to extend his contract to the next series.
In the spring of 2003, the play "Victor, Child in Power", based on a stage play by Rogeur Vitraque, premiered at the Mayakovsky Theater, with Vitas in the title role - a nine-year-old boy.
In January 2003, Vitas participated in the Indian Film Festival, held in Delhi from the 6th to the 11th. He gave a solo performance at the festival event and also participated in the opening ceremony.

Style
Live at the Kremlin concert in 2000 Vitas has a very unique singing style. He has his own solo band, accompanied by fiddles and accordions. The band members were dressed in medieval gothic-style robes and black veils when they played. The band's music is a modern mix of gothic rock, punk and electronica, with themes drawn from Russian folk music.
Also, Vitas has been known for his flamboyant, neutral clothing. He likes to wear brightly colored lipstick and slim evening gowns of his own design in a beautiful style. His stage style is quite alternative. For example, he likes to slam off the microphone in the middle of a high note, bringing his voice to a screeching halt. In one performance, he even sang "Opera 2" while hanging in the air on a swing with one hand.
Besides his singing voice, Vitas is known for his signature eyes and smile. Russian media have described his eyes as "haunted" and "cursed and seductive".
Vitas has a rather aloof relationship with the media and never gives interviews. But that was reportedly at the behest of his producer, Pudovkin. For reporters who wanted to interview Vitas, Pudovkin usually demanded tens of thousands of dollars for an interview, putting all media outlets off. The purpose of the move, according to Pudovkin, is to keep the public's attention focused on Vitas' music rather than his private life.
Despite his aloofness from the media, Vitas is privately a very talkative and cheerful person, according to some who have had contact with him. He doesn't smoke, but likes to drink a little bit of alcohol. The idea that he's a castrato is ridiculous, as Vitas usually acts and sounds like a normal man, and he's very conscious of his body and has a certain degree of cleanliness.
