Where is Langou Village in Sichuan Province

Langou Village, is a village under the jurisdiction of Qingzhu Street, Qingshen County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province.

The village covers an area of 2.86 square kilometers, with 7 village groups under its jurisdiction, a total of 1,182 households, a population of about 3,600, and more than 1,400 acres of arable land. China's first bamboo forest wetland park, China's first village of bamboo weaving, and the International Bamboo Art City, an AAAA-level tourist attraction, are located in the village.

In April 2020, Langou Village was named a model village for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in Sichuan Province in 2019, and in 2021, it was awarded the title of the eighth batch of "National Democracy and Rule of Law Demonstration Villages (Communities)".

In Langou village, the most famous than the bamboo class art, since the 1980s, the international bamboo weaving master Chen Yunhua headed by the village of Langou people choose to use the unique single bamboo made of thin as a cicada wing, as fine as a hair of bamboo wire, woven into a masterpiece of art, by UNESCO experts called "the miracle of the history of bamboo weaving, the art of the art! The masterpiece "Bittersweet Coolness" is a masterpiece of bamboo weaving. In November 2018, Langou Village neighborhood was named "Municipal Forest District".

On December 25, 2019, Langou Village was selected as a national forest village.

April 2020, Langou Village was named as the 2019 model village for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy in Sichuan Province.

On June 10, 2020, Langou Village was selected as a key village for rural tourism in Sichuan Province in 2020.

In 2021, it was honored with the title of the eighth batch of "National Democracy and Rule of Law Demonstration Village (Community)".
