What towns are there in Gaoyao City?
Gaoyao District, belonging to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located in the middle of Guangdong Province, in the middle and lower reaches of Xijiang River, 90 kilometers away from Guangzhou and 0/38 nautical miles away from Hong Kong/Kloc-0, bordering Sanshui District of Foshan City in the east and Yuncheng District of Yunfu City in the west.
Deqing County of Zhaoqing City is connected to Gaoming District of Foshan City and Xinxing County of Yunfu City in the south, and connected to Duanzhou District, Dinghu District, Guang Ningxian and Sihui City in the north. Gaoyao District governs 16 towns and Nan 'an sub-district offices, 279 villagers' committees and 73 community neighborhood committees. The land area is 2 1.86 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 1.99 million hectares. According to the data of the seventh census, as of 0: 00 1 1 on June 2020, the permanent population of Gaoyao District was 74 159 1.
Historical evolution:
Gaoyao was the land of Baiyue in ancient times, which belonged to Chu's sphere of influence during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and Qin belonged to Nanhai County.
In the first year of Gaodi (206 BC), Zhao Tuo established Nanyue State, which governed Xiang Jun, Guilin and Nanhai counties.
In the sixth year of Ding Yuan in the Western Han Dynasty (1 1 1), Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty put down the Lujia rebellion in South Vietnam and established Gaoyao County, which belonged to Cangwu County.
In 507, Liang Du of the Southern Dynasty established Gaoyao County, which governed Gaoyao and Berlin counties, and Gaoyao became a regional political center.
In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (589), Duanzhou was established, which governed seven counties: Gaoyao, Duan Xi, Lecheng, Xing Ping, Xinxing, Bolin and Tongling.
In the third year of Daye (607), Duanzhou changed to Xin 'an County, and still managed the heights.
In the fourth year of Tang Wude (62 1), it was renamed Duanzhou, which governed Gaoyao and Xing Ping counties.
In the first year of Tianbao (742), Duanzhou was changed to Gaoyao County, and in the first year of Gan Yuan (758), it was changed to Duanzhou.
In the third year of Song Shaosheng (1096), his son was made Duan Wang and Duanzhou was a fief. Four years later, Evonne ascended the throne as Song Huizong, promoted Duanzhou as Xingqing House, and formed Xingqing Army to celebrate the festival. In the first year of reconciliation (1 1 18), Xingqing House was changed to Zhaoqing House.
In the seventeenth year of Yuan Dynasty (1280), Zhaoqing House was changed to Zhaoqing Road.
