What are the intangible cultural heritages of sports?
1, Shaolin Kung Fu
Shaolin Kung Fu, also known as Shaolin Wushu, is one of the famous martial arts schools in China. It has a long history and far-reaching influence, and is an important part of China traditional Wushu. Shaolin Kung Fu refers to a traditional cultural system formed in the specific Buddhist cultural environment of Songshan Shaolin Temple, which is based on the belief of Buddhist divine power, fully embodies the wisdom of Zen, and takes the martial arts practiced by Shaolin Temple monks as the main form of expression. In 2006, it was listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
2. Tai Ji Chuan
The common schools in Tai Ji Chuan are Chen, Yang, Wu, Sun and Yue. Each school has its own characteristics and is in a state of letting a hundred flowers blossom. In 2006, Tai Ji Chuan was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. In February, 2020, the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage, at its15th session, listed the "Taiji Biography" project in UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
3. Horse racing club
The Jockey Club held in June every year in the Tibetan calendar is a grand traditional festival in northern Tibet, also known as the "Prairie Grand Festival", which lasts for 5~ 15 days. Among them, Naqu Horse Club is the largest. During the festival, herdsmen from all parts of northern Tibet, dressed in colorful holiday costumes, brought rich food, set up beautiful tents and rode horses, and flocked to the stadium from all directions. On June 7th, 2008, the Jockey Club was approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
4. Thinking boxing
Mind is one of China's traditional boxing methods, an important part of China Wushu culture and oriental mysterious culture, and a wonderful flower in the hundred gardens of Chinese Wushu. It is said that psychological boxing was created by Yue Fei, a famous national hero in Song Dynasty. On June 7th, 2008, Psychological Boxing was approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
5, mantis boxing
Mantis Boxing is one of the famous traditional martial arts schools in China, and it is a kind of pictographic boxing. It is one of the four famous boxing in Shandong, and it is also one of the first nine schools of traditional Wushu systematically researched and sorted out by the Wushu Sports Management Center of the State Sports General Administration.
6. Wudang Wushu
Wudang Wushu is a broad and profound China Wushu school with a long history, named after Zhang Sanfeng was founded in Wudang Mountain. At the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, wu-tang clan Taoist Zhang Sanfeng was regarded as the founder of Wudang Wushu. The state attaches great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. On May 20th, 2006, this heritage was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
