Kung Fu Tea and Chaoshan Kung Fu Tea
Gongfu tea and Chaoshan Gongfu tea are both traditional famous teas in Chaoshan area of Guangdong Province. Kung fu tea, also known as Chaozhou black tea, is a kind of black tea mainly produced in Anpu Town, Chenghai District, Chaozhou City. It is characterized by reddish brown color, rich aroma and mellow taste. Kung fu tea is mostly big leaf, and the traditional production technology of "one harvest, one pruning, one fermentation and one drying" is adopted.
Chaoshan congou refers to all kinds of tea in Chaoshan area of Guangdong, including black tea, oolong tea and green tea. Chaoshan congou tea is famous for its unique production technology and quality. Chaoshan congou tea is characterized by regular tea shape, green or golden color, refreshing aroma, mellow taste and lasting sweetness. Its production process includes screening, rolling, composting and fermentation.
Generally speaking, although Kung Fu tea and Chaoshan Kung Fu tea belong to the traditional famous tea in Chaoshan area, their production technology, quality characteristics and taste are different.
