June 2022 sedan sales charts full version

According to the data recently released by the passenger association, the domestic sedan market retail sales in June 2022 reached 987,000 units, an increase of 28.3% year-on-year, a jump of 40.5% from May.

In June, sedans with sales of more than 10,000 units reached 32 models, with four of them selling more than 30,000 units. The Nissan Hennessey regained the sedan sales title, with June sales of 45,767 units, while the Wuling Hongguang MINI EV retreated to second place, with sales of 39,798 units.

The Toyota Corolla and Volkswagen Ranger sold more than 30,000 units, ranking third and fourth with 33,198 and 31,485 units, respectively. The Bora from Volkswagen sold 28,217 units, ranking fifth. However, sales of the Sprint, one of Volkswagen's "Three Musketeers," remained low at 13,710 units, ranking only 19th.

Ranking sixth to twelfth were seven midsize cars, including the Tesla Model 3, which sold 25,788 units; the Camry and Accord, both of which sold more than 20,000 units, with 22,651 and 20,497 respectively; and the Volkswagen Maiden, which sold more than the Passat and ranked 10th with 19,111 units. The Volkswagen Passat sold 14,490 units and ranked 17th.

The Audi A4L, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and BMW 3-Series are three luxury midsize cars with good sales of 19,300, 18,769 and 18,376 units respectively, all ranked in the top twelve positions.

In addition, there are two other midsize cars with sales over 10,000 units, including the Nissan Skyline with sales of 14,721 units, ranking 16th, and the Toyota Asiatic Dragon with sales of 11,432 units, ranking 27th.

The best-selling mid-size car was the BMW 5 Series, which sold 15,674 units in June (excluding the 5 Series new energy) and ranked 14th, while the Audi A6L sold 11,987 units and ranked 24th, and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sold 10,493 units and ranked 30th.

Sales of the BYD Han EV and BYD Han DM were 12,828 and 12,381 units respectively, ranking 20th and 21st. The combined sales of the two versions of the BYD Han amounted to 25,209 units, which can be ranked eighth in the sedan sales chart.

The BYD Qin PLUS DM-i also performed well, with retail sales of 12,002 units in June; the BYD Qin PLUS EV ranked 28th with sales of 11,167 units. Combined sales of the two versions totaled 23,169 units, which could rank in the top eight in the sedan sales chart.

Only Changan YiDong and Geely Dihao sold more than 10,000 units of traditional fuel cars of independent brands, with YiDong selling 11,857 units, ranking 26th, and Geely Dihao selling 10,952 units, ranking 29th.

Sales of less than 10,000 units but more than 8,000 units of independent brands are also quite a lot, of which Chery QQ ice cream and eQ1 small ants sales are more than 9,000 units, while the sales of Eian Aione S, Changan UNI-V, Geely Starry, Ola good cat, Xiaopeng Automobile P7 and other models are more than 8,000 units.
