How to catch crucian carp by traditional methods?

Fishing crucian carp in natural waters can be divided into two categories: meat and vegetables. The meat bait is represented by earthworm, red worm and white worm, and the vegetarian bait is mainly pasta with original flavor and various smells.

First of all, meat bait

(1) Earthworms are one of the main baits for wild crucian carp fishing, and the earthworms used should be "red, fine and alive". Red and alive, when in the water, it is easy to be recognized and found by crucian carp, and the details are easy to swallow.

(2) Red Worm Red Worm A is the best bait for catching crucian carp in Beijing in winter and spring. There are about 150 days from around beginning of winter to mid-April of the following year. As long as the fish are raised, they are basically red worms, especially crucian carp.

(3) Fly maggots are attractive to crucian carp because of their white color and special taste. However, fly maggots should pay special attention to the hook, so as not to break the cavity and make the body fluid flow out, leaving only a layer of white skin, which loses the function of attracting fish. The correct hook method is to use a thin, sharp fish hook, which passes between two black spots (the anus of the worm) at the tail end (the big head) and the hook tip reaches the head of the maggot. Another method is to tie 1 ~ 2 fly maggots with a thread, and then tie them to a hook, just like tying red worms.

(4) Shrimp is one of the favorite foods of crucian carp (especially big crucian carp). When the fishing effect of earthworm and flour bait is not good in summer, it is often miraculous to replace it with fresh shrimp.

Second, vegetarian bait is the main bait for catching crucian carp in summer and early autumn. Among them, there are single powder bait, compound powder bait, rice grains and foam balls.

(1) One-sided bait is made by kneading tofu powder, soybean powder, broad bean powder and pea powder with pond water. Its characteristic is to keep the original flavor, and its effect is outstanding in some natural water bodies.

(2) The compound flour bait is mostly flour and fine corn flour, which is based on water and cooked in a good pot. Then, according to different waters, koji wine, medicinal liquor, spices, essence, monosodium glutamate, milk powder, sesame powder, sesame oil and vitamin tablets are added to the fishing ground to make flour bait with different tastes to meet the special needs of crucian carp living in different waters. For example, I went to Miyun Reservoir to fish for crucian carp, and I used the "three-in-one" surface bait made of cake, tofu powder and garlic powder (or garlic juice) to fish for big crucian carp, and the effect was excellent. At the same time, it is also very effective for grass carp, carp and white fish.

At present, many people still use Dong Jun bait, Old Ghost bait 9 18 and other commercial baits to catch crucian carp, adding a little flour or wire drawing powder dough, which is convenient and quick, and the effect is quite good.

(3) Taking rice grains as bait. The easiest way is to spray high-quality koji wine before fishing. A little more complicated is to fry it in oil, then sprinkle the mushy eggs on it, add a little monosodium glutamate, salt and chopped green onion, and stir fry a few times. This bait is fragrant, fishy, fresh and salty. It is effective in catching crucian carp in summer, but be careful not to spoil it.

(4) Foam ball bait Foam balls are widely available and simple to make, which can prevent small miscellaneous fish from taking the bait when fishing, and are very popular among fishermen in Beijing. The simple way is to take off the small balls from the foam plastic, package them, put them in a bottle and soak them in qu liquor and medicinal liquor for a few days before using them. A slightly more complicated usage is to hook the bubble ball with the earthworm, which is true or false, dead or alive, red and white, with the smell of wine and earthworm at the same time. Because the earthworm hanging on the hook is alive, the foam ball on the hook tip is also "alive", commonly known as "monkey dome light"
