What are the international logistics modes of cross-border e-commerce?

There are four commonly used logistics modes for cross-border e-commerce, namely: international express delivery, postal parcels, special lines and overseas warehouses.

International express delivery: such as DHL, Fedex, UPS, TNT, etc. The four major international express delivery companies can regularly track the whereabouts of goods, help customs clearance, save time, effort and worry; The disadvantage is that the freight is expensive and there are strict requirements for the items you carry.

Postal parcels: such as EMS, large and small parcels, surface mail, etc., with wide delivery coverage and no long-distance surcharge and overseas return fee; But the transmission time is long and the packet loss rate is high.

Dedicated line: Dedicated line refers to the transportation line specially opened for a certain international or region. The special line has limited transportation time, but the delivery area is limited, which is not suitable for small packages. There are railway, sea and air routes for special lines.

Overseas warehouses: Overseas warehouses are divided into self-operated overseas warehouses, third-party overseas warehouses, FBA overseas warehouses and virtual overseas warehouses. In fact, they are also one of the channels of cross-border transportation, realizing the local distribution of foreign goods, with fast delivery time and good customer experience. Overseas warehouse includes three parts: head trip, storage and tail trip.
