What is machining? Please introduce
Machining is a process of changing the dimensions or properties of a workpiece with a processing machine. According to the temperature state of the workpiece being machined, it is divided into cold machining and hot machining. Generally processed at room temperature, and does not cause changes in the chemical or physical phase of the workpiece, called cold machining. Cold work is generally performed at temperatures higher or lower than room temperature and causes chemical or physical changes in the workpiece, so it is called hot work. Cold working according to the difference in processing methods can be divided into cutting and pressure processing. Hot processing is common heat treatment, calcining, casting and welding. A variety of equipment, generalized as: heat treatment equipment, forging equipment, casting equipment, welding equipment, metal cutting machine tools, presses and so on. Metal cutting machine tools are large categories: turning, drilling, boring, grinding, gear processing, milling, planing, pulling, special machine tools and so on.
