In the design process, students need to interpret the spiritual connotation of traditional culture in advance, extract the representative elements of traditional culture, and re-create with the social subjectivity thought with China characteristics in the new era, so as to achieve the effect of educating people and inheriting culture. In the teaching of graphic and image design course, we can try to teach theory and skills with the small theme of ideological and political education as the unit theme, and small-scale training in the classroom can be used as the assessment of learning effect in each stage.
