Nepalese painting school was mainly popular in 1 1 century to13rd century. Songzan Gambo married Bhrikuti Devi of Nepal, and Nepalese artists accompanied the princess to Tibet. They integrated the artistic style of Nepal into the local art in Tibet and formed the Nepal School in Tangka. The painting direction of this genre is mainly warm colors, and the main statue in the center of the picture occupies a very prominent position. Dharma statues are arranged in neat little squares around, with simple statues, stiff characters, few clothes and thin decoration.
Thangka was first influenced by Nepalese style around the 7th century. With the introduction of Buddhism, temples were built in Tibet. At that time, murals and statues in temples were painted by painters and sculptors from Nepal and China. Later people called it Nepal Painting School.

On the one hand, it inherited the painting charm of Tubo period and partition period, on the other hand, it also absorbed some characteristics of Nepalese painting style, mainly because the composition not only inherited the composition of Nepalese painting school, but also changed slightly. The position occupied by the central master is relatively reduced, and the color is still mainly warm. In the background, this painting school likes to use scroll grass patterns as decoration, which more vividly depicts the subtle differences between the fingers and toes of the characters, and also makes the gestures and costumes of the characters more smooth and elegant.

It is the most influential painting school in modern Tibetan areas, with Lhasa as the activity center, which is mainly popular in Wei Tibetan areas. Its painting characteristics are that the background behind the main image has added elements such as mountains and rivers in the Han Dynasty, and the sculpture is more rigorous, paying special attention to the use of lines, with bright and lively colors and active and changeable layout.
The blue-green landscape of the Han dynasty was added to the background, and the contrast between red and blue and red and green in the past became a stone-green tone. Strengthened the Han people's expression of the Lord's clothing.
Qinze school of painting
Qinze School of Painting was formed after the middle of15th century, and it was mainly popular in Houzang and Shannan areas. Its founder is Qin Mo, Gongga Gangdui Qinze (also translated as Gongga Gangdui Qinze Chemistry). Qin Zeqin Mo loved fine arts since childhood. On the basis of traditional Tibetan painting in Nepal, he absorbed painting techniques from the Central Plains, China, India and other places, and founded a painting school. Qinze Painting School maintains the characteristics of Indian-Nepalese painting tradition, that is, the main image has a large composition, prominent focus and orderly arrangement of small images around it. However, in terms of landscape expression, it has begun to be integrated into the expression procedure of Chinese painting, and gradually formed the language system of Tibetan painting.

Gamagazi painting school
The Karma Gazi Painting School also translated the Karma Gazi Painting School, also known as the Karma Gazi Painting School or the Gazi Painting School, which was born out of the Menzi Painting School. Popular in eastern Tibetan areas, centered on Ganzi, Dege, Sichuan and Changdu, Tibet, it is said that it was created by the living Buddha of Nanga Tashi in the16th century and named after Karmapa Dafa. The style of Karma Gazi painting school comes from complex sources. Its founder, Nanga Tashi Living Buddha, is modeled after Brahma bronze Buddha in South Asia, and is deeply influenced by Miantang painting of Dancia Juebaye Juepeng. Mijiu Duoji, the eighth Karmapa living Buddha contemporary with Nanga Tashi, summed up the previous experience and wrote "Line Quasi-Sunglasses", which laid the theoretical foundation of Ganzi Painting School.
The biggest feature of this school of painting is that it deals with time and space flexibly, adopts the method of scattered perspective, and combines the advantages of China landscape painting and Tibetan meticulous painting to make the picture more profound, mysterious and rich.
