How to change the door lock at home?

First, you need to remove the door lock.

1. There are two screws at the top and bottom of the door lock panel behind the door. Remove them with a Phillips screwdriver so that the front and rear panels can be removed.

There are three screws on the lock body near the door. Remove the middle one and pull out the lock cylinder. If you are a security door, after removing the panel, there are two covers at the place where the key is inserted. Remove the two screws on the back cover and you can remove the lock core.

3. Remove the two screws on the door lock body and take out the lock body.

Just take out your new lock and install it according to the disassembly steps.
