What are the stories about unity and cooperation?
Once upon a time, King Tuguhun had 20 sons. His 20 sons are all very capable, so it is difficult to tell them apart. However, they are self-reliant and highly skilled, and don't care about others. They think that only they are the most talented. Usually, 20 sons often fight in secret, taunt each other when they meet, and always speak ill of each other behind their backs.
A can was very worried when he saw that his sons were incompatible with each other. He knows that it is easy for the enemy to take advantage of this incompatible situation and divide them one by one, and then national security will be imminent. Achan often takes advantage of various opportunities and occasions to earnestly teach his sons not to attack and fight each other, but to unite and be friendly. However, everything the sons said to their father went in one ear and out the other. On the surface, they pretended to follow the instructions, but in fact they didn't take it to heart, or they still went their own way.
As the jackal grows old, he knows that his rule will not last long. But what will sons do after their own death? No one can teach them and mediate the contradictions between them. Isn't that country falling apart? How can we make them know how to unite? The jackal is getting more and more worried.
One day, Aman, who was bedridden for a long time, foresaw the coming of death and finally had an idea.
He called his sons to the bedside and told them, "Each of you put an arrow on the ground."
The sons agreed somehow. The jackal told his brother Muliyan, "Pick up an arrow and break it."
Mu Liyan picked up an arrow next to him, and with a little effort, it broke. The jackal added, "Now you pick up all the remaining 19 arrows, tie them together and try to break them."
Mu Liyan grabbed the bundle of arrows, sucked the milk with all his strength, gritted his teeth, bent down, and the veins stood out on his neck, sweating profusely, but never broke the bundle of arrows.
The jackal slowly turned to his sons and said earnestly, "You all know that an arrow breaks when it is folded gently, but it keeps breaking when it is put together. So are your brothers. If you confront each other and act alone, it is easy to fail. Only when 20 people unite and Qi Xin works together will you have great strength, overcome everything and safeguard national security. This is the power of unity! "
The sons finally understood their father's good intentions, remembered their past behavior, and said with tears of regret, "Father, we understand, don't worry!" " "
When the jackal saw that his sons really understood, he nodded with confidence, closed his eyes and died safely.
Two heads are better than one.
One day, Zhuge Liang visited Wu Dong and designed a pagoda for Sun Quan to repay his kindness. Actually, it was Mr Zhuge Liang who wanted to weigh the weight of Wu Dong and see if Wu Dong could build an artificial tower. This pagoda is very demanding. The copper gourd at the top alone is 50 feet high and weighs more than 2,000 kilograms. Sun Quan was stumped and flushed with anxiety. Later, I found a smelter, and there was a shortage of people to make copper gourd model, so I posted a list of recruiting talents on the city gate.
After a month, I still got nothing. Zhuge Liang paced on the list of recruiting talents every day and shook his goose feather fan happily.
There are three cobblers setting up stalls at the city gate. They are ugly and illiterate. Everyone calls them "ugly cobblers". When they heard that Zhuge Liang was making fun of Wu Dongren, they got together to discuss it. It took them three days and nights to finally cut a gourd by cutting shoes.
Then, cut the material from cowhide, and sew the model of gourd with awl and awl. When pouring copper water, first bury the gourd in the sand. This move is a success. Zhuge Liang got the news that copper gourd poured water, and immediately said goodbye to Sun Quan, and never looked down upon Dongwu again.
One monk carries water, two monks carry water, and three monks have no water.
Once upon a time, there was a small temple on a mountain. One day, a young monk came to the temple. Every day, I carry water, recite scriptures, knock on wooden fish, add water to the water bottle on the bodhisattva's desk, and don't let mice steal things at night, leading a stable and comfortable life.
Soon, another thin monk came to the temple. He drank half a can of water as soon as he came. The young monk told him to fetch water. The thin monk went to fetch water first. Later, when he saw the young monk at leisure in the temple, he thought it was too bad to fetch water alone, so he asked the young monk to fetch water with him.
Two people can only carry one bucket, and the bucket must be placed in the center of the burden, so that two people can feel at ease. So there is still water to drink. And the relationship between the two has become rigid.
Later, another fat monk came. He also wants to drink water, but there is no water in the tank. The young monk and the thin monk told him to pick his own, while the fat monk picked a handful of water and drank it all by himself. Since then, no one has carried water, so the three monks have no water to drink.
Everyone read their own scriptures and knocked on their wooden fish. Finally, they simply grabbed the water from the water bottle in front of the Bodhisattva and drank it all at once. The flowers withered when no one added water.
Rats come out to steal things at night, and no one cares. As a result, rats ran wild, knocked over candlesticks and ignited a fire. Three monks struggled to put out the fire together. The fire was put out and they woke up. From then on, three monks and Qi Xin worked together, and there was naturally more water.
4. Unity is strength
Ji Gui, the 12th emperor of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, did two unpopular things in his twenty-first year (524 BC) and twenty-third year (522 BC): one was to make big money, and the other was to make a big clock. Big money is valuable money. King Jing tried to collect small money from the people by casting big money. A big clock chimed. King Jing wants to cast two sets of giant chimes, one is no beat (read Y) and the other is Dalin. He is going to hang the upper and lower sets of chimes together to play.
Shan Mugong, the minister around King Jing, was very worried about this and tried to dissuade him. He believes that casting a large amount of money is not conducive to circulation, which is "absolutely a real people's palace" and a cruel plunder of ordinary people; Casting a big clock not only wastes money, but also does not enjoy the pleasing beauty (the clock is too big for the ears to bear), which increases the burden on the people. So doing so will alienate the people and endanger the country. But King Jing wouldn't listen.
Lesi's doctor, Lingzhou Dove, also dissuaded him, saying that the melody of chimes emphasized harmony. If the people dislike it, there will be no harmony. He quoted the folk proverb "all hearts make the city, all mouths win the gold" to show his point of view: what people like together is rarely realized; And what they hate is rarely abolished. But King Jing still wouldn't listen. In three years, both a lot of money and a big clock were cast. As a result, King Jing died of heart disease in the second year, and civil strife occurred in the Zhou Dynasty for five years.
5. Rule the world hand in hand.
At the end of Xia Dynasty, the last monarch, Xia Jie, was very cruel and exercised cruel rule at home. The people are full of complaints and living in distress. Tang is the monarch of vassal States and small countries, and he is a wise monarch. He found a great saint Yi Yin to help him. The power of Shang Dynasty is unprecedented. When Tang saw that the time was ripe, the monarch and his subjects made concerted efforts, and Qi Xin joined forces to finally destroy the Xia Dynasty.
