What's the difference between dragon boat racing and rowing?

Dragon boat racing and rowing represent different products of agricultural civilization and industrial civilization respectively, but there are still great differences.

Dragon Boat Race: It depends entirely on the rower's body, and there is no mechanical movement on board. Its advantages are that it is made of trunk, simple to make and not easy to leak. It can be said that it is one of the oldest water vehicles for human beings. Modern canoes are mostly made of composite materials, which can be rowed by one or more people, mainly for sports, sightseeing and entertainment.

Rowing: Rowing is the only water sport that faces away from the driving direction. The paddle is relatively long, with the paddle frame as the fulcrum, and the driving force is generated through leverage. Moreover, due to the use of modern rowing carriages, rowing has formed a whole body movement from top to bottom, and the sports efficiency is greatly improved compared with others.

The form of rowing is similar to dragon boat racing, which should be evolved from dragon boat racing. Dragon boat racing is more passionate and energetic, with drummers, drums and sailors. Rowing is relatively quiet.
