Organizational evolution of Dujia ancestral hall
In the middle of the south is the main entrance of the main building of Dujia Ancestral Temple, and the painted door gods on the heavy wooden doors are as high as three meters. Stepping into the gate, a double-sided carved screen hollowed out on all sides separates the faintly visible courtyard scene. There are traditional themes such as "Hero Map", "Taishi Land" and "Fisherman Farming" carved on the screen, which are ingenious in conception and exquisite in carving. On the top of the screen door, six columns with sophisticated design set up a theater with eight diagrams on the top; Exquisite floral decorations on the theater building are absolutely exquisite. Carved patterns such as dragon, phoenix, lotus and plum are carved between the guardrails with a grid. The roof of the theater building is full of dragons and phoenixes, and the corners are tilted up, which is colorful. According to reports, at that time, every festival day, harvest day, Chinese New Year's Day and China Moving Day, the clan asked the troupe to sing in the ancestral temple, which was the usual practice.
The theater downstairs enters the patio through five steps. On the left and right sides of the patio are wings, with exquisite window grilles, heavy doors, painted patterns and many carved beams and painted buildings. Out of the wing, climb five steps about 1.2 meters high, which is the main hall of the ancestral hall "Juxian Hall", transparent and open. It is said that this is a place where people hold spring and autumn festivals or review the party.
