Woodcarving knife method
It is called "woodcut" or "woodcut". A kind of printmaking. It belongs to relief printing. All the pictures on the plane board are carved with different types of knives according to the drawings, and the unnecessary parts are carved into intaglio, and then the oil or water-based pigments are rolled on the left relief board and printed on paper, which is generally called "woodcut", which is the earliest print form at home and abroad. The plates used are pear wood, boxwood, white peach wood or three plywood and five plywood, and the surface is delicate.

A kind of woodcut prints. Painted by a painter and carved by a mechanic. Woodblock prints include three basic production processes: painting, carving and printing. If these three works were created by different authors, and copied other people's pictures and carved with woodcut techniques, so as to achieve the effect of the original painting, it is called "copying woodcut".

Mukou woodcut
A kind of woodcut prints. Refers to a knife made of solid steel bars, which uses thin and strong fibers to carve marks on wood (such as chopping boards). Because this kind of wood fiber stands evenly, the resistance is even when cutting, and it is not easy to break, so it is suitable for fine carving. Large area, need to be cut into pieces. At the same time, various lines can be carved by using different acute angles at the incision of the cutter head. For example, the acute angles of the blade are arranged in a zigzag manner, and a plurality of neat flat lines can be carved by one knife. Most of the fine works carved by European printmakers belong to this type.
