Who is the current head coach of the Chinese short track speed skating team?

The current head coach of the 2022 Chinese short track national team is Kim Sun-dae.

Kim Sun-tae assumed the position of head coach of the Chinese short track speed skating national team in October 2021, Kim Sun-tae used to be the head coach of South Korea's short track speed skating national team, and in May 2019, for the Chinese short track speed skating national team coaching team made adjustments. Coaching career

In 2004, under the recommendation of the former head coach of South Korean short-track speed skating, Jeon Myung-kyu, Kim Sun-tae became the head coach of the junior team of Changchun Winter Sports Management Center, and during his coaching period, he unearthed the likes of Zhou Yang, Liang Wenhao, Han Tianyu and others.

Kim became head coach of the Japanese short track speed skating team in 2006 and led the team to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

In 2010, Kim Sun-tae returned to China, signing a four-year deal with the Changchun Winter Sports Management Center.

In May 2014, the Korea Ice Athletic Federation appointed Kim Sun-Tae as head coach of the Korean short track speed skating team and director of the men's team. During his tenure, Kim Sun-dae led the South Korean team to three titles one runner-up and two third-place finishes at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
