What are the ancient medical books?

Ancient medical books include Shennong's Herbal Classic, Huangdi's Internal Classic, Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Compendium of Materia Medica, Qianjinfang and so on.

1, Shennong Herbal Classic

Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica, also known as "Classic of Materia Medica" or "Classic of Materia Medica", was written in the Han Dynasty and named Shennong. It is one of the four classic works of traditional Chinese medicine and the earliest known works of traditional Chinese medicine. Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica is divided into three volumes, containing 365 kinds of drugs. It is divided into three categories: upper, middle and lower, and its conciseness has become the essence of Chinese medicine theory.

2. The Emperor's Internal Classic

Huangdi Neijing is divided into Lingshu and Suwen, which is the earliest medical classic in China and one of the four classic works of traditional medicine (the other three are Difficult Classic, Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Shennong Herbal Classic).

3. Treatise on Febrile Diseases

Treatise on Febrile Diseases is one of China's traditional medical works. It is a medical classic with exogenous diseases and internal injuries as its main contents. The author is Zhang Zhongjing at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, which is one of the main basic courses offered by China TCM colleges.

4. Compendium of Materia Medica

Compendium of Materia Medica has many versions. Except for various foreign language versions or abridged versions, there are about 72 kinds in China, which can be roughly divided into "one ancestor and three systems", namely, the ancestral version (Jinling version, Sheyuan version) and the Jiangxi version, the former version and the Zhang version.

5. Fang

Qian Jin Fang Yao, also known as Qian Jin Yao Fang and Qian Jin Fang, is one of the classic works of ancient Chinese medicine, written by Sun Simiao, with a total of 30 volumes. It is a comprehensive clinical medical work and is known as the earliest clinical encyclopedia in China.
