Characteristics of Laozi's Hometown Tourist Area

The resource advantages of Laozi's hometown tourist area can be summarized by four words: expert, true, root, complete, far, high and famous:

(1) Special: This tourist area is composed of Laozi's life stories, cultural relics, legends and other objects and stories. The whole tourism activities are centered around Laozi, and such characteristic tourism projects are rare in China. (2) Truth: There are many legends about Laozi and monuments to commemorate Laozi at home and abroad. Especially after Laozi was honored as the ancestor of Taoism, Taoist temples all honored Laozi, and temples named after Taishang Laojun, Sanqing and Xuanyuan abound. Even the whole mountains and rivers are named after the legends of Laozi, such as Funiu Mountain, Laojun Mountain and Sanqingshan Mountain. Lu Yi, Lao Tzu's hometown, regards Lao Tzu as a mortal.

(3) Root-seeking: Laozi's hometown tourist area is the place of root-seeking, the ancestral home of Taoism and the root of Li. Since the ancestral temple of Laozi was established as the Lijia Temple in the early Tang Dynasty, people from the emperor down to the people came to seek roots and worship ancestors for Laozi in an endless stream. Laozi's hometown has become a sacred place for Li Hua people at home and abroad to seek roots and sacrifice; At the same time, after I retired to the countryside, I preached, taught and promoted immortals in Mingdao Palace, and finally formed my philosophy view, which laid the ideological foundation for the birth of the ancient philosophical treasure Tao Te Ching.

There are all kinds of cultural relics around Laozi, including ruins, tombs, architectural relics and sites in Laozi's period, places for later generations to sacrifice, important ancient documents, inscriptions of different times, well-preserved ancient buildings, which have experienced the towering ancient cypresses in Cang Sang and the historic Kowloon Well, forming a complete scenic spot with rich contents.

Especially in the period of Li Tang, Laozi was sealed many times and his palace was overhauled. In addition to erecting a monument to san huang himself, Song Zhenzong wrote poems for Laozi three times, which made the scale of offering sacrifices to Laozi reach its peak in the Tang and Song Dynasties. Famous literati Du Fu, Shao Yong, Ouyang Xiu, Liu Xiang, etc. I wrote a poem praising Lao Zi.

(7) Name: In addition to Laozi, there are many famous places of interest in the tourist area, such as the battle between Liu Bang and Xiang Yu, where the embattled story happened. Northeast of the county 1 km, there is Yuji's Tomb hanging; Cao Cao sealed Hou in Wuping City; Chen Tuan Temple, named "Baiyun", is located in the southeast of the city. It is the former residence of Chen Tuan, a Taoist master. Surrounded by water rings, the winding path is quiet and secluded, which is quite interesting.

Taiqing Palace and Laojuntai Site were listed as provincial key cultural relics protection units in 1968 and as national key cultural relics protection units in 5438+0 in 2006. Since the reform and opening up, the protection and construction have been continuously strengthened, and the grade of tourism resources has been greatly improved.
