If you are using a Vivo phone, forgetting your lock screen password can be handled as follows:

First of all, please carefully recall whether you have changed your password, or if your password has been changed by a friend or relative. If you still can't unlock the device after retrying several times, please try to deal with it in the following way.

Situation 1: I forgot my lock screen password, but I can use my fingerprint or face to enter the desktop:

1. After you have backed up your data, connect to the network, enter the cloud service - sign in to your account - find a device - turn on the "find a device", open the vivo cloud service webpage with another device - enter the vivo account password - enter the vivo account password - find a device - open the vivo cloud service webpage with another device. Situation 2: Forgetting your lock screen password prevents you from accessing the desktop:

1. If the OriginOS model has the multi-user function enabled, and the passwords set by each user cannot be used, you can click on the user's name on the lock screen interface, select the corresponding user, and enter the corresponding password to unlock the device.

Note: If the lock screen interface does not show the user name, it means that sub-users or guests are not enabled.

2, if you enter the wrong password many times, there is no "forget password" option:

Note: Models that support FBE encryption technology will be rebooted after restarting the device. Note: After reboot, models that support FBE encryption technology cannot clear data via cloud service command without unlocking and entering desktop.

Situation 3: If you can't reset the lock screen password by clearing all the data, please bring the device, ID card, and proof of purchase to the Vivo customer service center.

Note: "Clear all data" will restore the phone to its initial state, deleting all data in the phone's system space, including account numbers, system and app data and settings, and installed apps, so please back up important data on the phone before operation.
