What's going on in China as people dance dragons and lions to celebrate the Lunar New Year?
Introduction:
Traditional folk activities were held in Upper Sian Village, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, on Jan. 27, with performances in the form of a green dragon dance, a hundred-leaf dragon, a ten-fold gong and drums, a Sian dry boat, a flower-drum opera, and a Lin Cheng lion dance, attracting thousands of local people and tourists to come to watch.
Every year on New Year's Eve, Upper Sian Village celebrates the New Year with a dragon dance, symbolizing good weather in the coming year and a peaceful and happy life for the people.
