Japan's top art exhibition

Japan's top art-map of pine trees.

1589, 52-year-old Toyotomi Hideyoshi was ecstatic about the birth of his son and named him Song He. However, the crane pine, which was deeply loved by all kinds, died at the age of three. Extremely sad, Xiuji built Xiangyun Temple, known as the "First Temple in Kyoto", which brought together skilled craftsmen from all over the world.

Hiding in Kyoto, Hasegawa and other painters seized this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and were entrusted by Hideyoshi to paint the golden barrier in the temple to fight against the "Jian Ye School" that dominated the painting world. Entrusted, Deng Bo came to Xiangyun Temple with his disciples and eldest son. Painted maple leaf map, pine autumn sketch and Panasonic gumbo map.

The size of the work is huge, and the pine and maple in the painting are as big as the real thing. The whole painting is decorated with gold foil and silver foil, which is resplendent and dazzling. With delicate lines, countless lush flowers and plants that grow freely in the natural state have become a model of barrier painting.

With this series of works, Deng Bo made a great splash in Kyoto painting, and Yongde Jian Ye, who lived in Kyoto before, died in 1590, becoming the first painter to surpass the "Jian Ye School". A few years after finishing the barrier mural of Xiangyun Temple, Deng Bo created a six-picture masterpiece "Pine Tree Map" which is completely different from the previous style, with a silent, profound and full of unknown feeling.

Brief introduction of pine forest map;

The Pine Tree Map, composed of a pair of six screens, depicts the pine trees looming in water vapor and fog with dynamic and powerful strokes. In the Picture of Pine Trees, Uncle Hasegawa and others painted the misty and patchwork pine trees with different shades of ink. Hidden in the fog, the pine trees are flourishing, and the thick ink rubs out the lush pine tree crown. As the whole tree goes down, the color of the ink gradually changes layer by layer.

Some branches of vision are only smudged with light ink, and misty rain is rendered with ink. Close to the painting, look carefully and see some black lines gathered together, like graffiti; Back a little distance, the pine needles depicted by the black line are clearly visible; Farther away, the endless pine forest will leap from the paper.

Painters and other uncles use pure black and white colors to outline the pine forest against the distant water vapor. The whole picture is hazy, and the painter creates a strong visual effect with very few strokes and simple composition. The fog is floating in the wind, the pine forest seems to be shaking, and the viewer can even smell the moisture in the air from the paintings.
