Composition of traditional spirit embodied in the Summer Palace

The Summer Palace has mountains, water and pavilions. This is really a royal garden.

The Summer Palace in Beijing was a royal garden in the Qing Dynasty. It shows the world the beauty of China Royal Garden with its beautiful scenery.

As soon as we entered the Summer Palace, an arch bridge made of white jade and Han stone appeared in front of us: many dragons were carved on the guardrail of the arch bridge, and mighty little stone lions with different shapes were carved on the pillars. After crossing the stone arch bridge, I saw Kunming Lake.

Kunming Lake is a big lake in the Summer Palace. Seen from a height, Kunming Lake looks like a peach. Kunming Lake is an artificial lake. I think how much manpower and material resources it will cost! Kunming Lake is surrounded by green trees, with pleasant scenery and clear water, which is really refreshing. The north bank of Kunming Lake is a long corridor with carved beams and painted columns, which is more than 700 meters long and has 12000 paintings, all of which have nothing in common.

Go to the end of the corridor, and you will see an attic built on the mountain-Ge Xiang. Ge Xiang is the place where Empress Dowager Cixi visited and rested in the Summer Palace. There are red lacquer beams and columns, gold lacquer wood carvings and golden walls, and there are many rare treasures in them.

Finally, we came to Suzhou Street, the scenic spot of the Summer Palace. It concentrates the life of Jiangnan folk houses in the garden, and Suzhou Street is built in a circle. On one side of the street, there is an antique shop, and the ground is made of granite. On the other side is a waterway, and in the middle is a small arch bridge, which seems to be back to ancient times.

Students, now let me introduce the Summer Palace to you!

Located in Beijing, the Summer Palace is a royal forest park. However, in ancient times, this was the place where emperors hunted. The Summer Palace is mainly composed of Wanshou Mountain and Kunming Lake. The Wanshou Mountain is shaped like a peach. It is said that it was dug into the shape of a peach when Emperor Qianlong gave his mother a birthday, and it was called "Wengshan". Kunming Lake was dug deep at that time and was called "Kunming Pool". This forest garden was called "Qingyi Garden" at that time.

There is also a famous and beautiful corridor in the Summer Palace. Green painted columns and red painted railings combine to form this endless corridor. The promenade is more than 700 meters long and has 273 rooms. There are some colorful paintings on the sill of each room, which were painted by painters ordered by the emperor. Some cross the threshold to draw figures; Some have flowers and plants painted across the threshold; There are also landscapes painted on the cross sill. Thousands of paintings are not exactly the same.

No matter how beautiful the promenade of the Summer Palace is, it can't compare with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain.

There are several stone bridges with different styles on the embankment around Kunming Lake. The shore is also covered with countless weeping willows. There is an island in the center of the lake. Seen from a distance, the island is green. We only need to cross the bridge with 17 holes in bridge opening to play on the island. There are hundreds of stone pillars on the railing of the seventeen-hole bridge, all of which are carved lions. So many little lions show the wisdom and skills of the ancient working people.

Wanshou Mountain is also beautiful. Halfway up the mountain, there is a three-story octagonal pagoda-shaped building, that is, Foxiang Pavilion. Below are rows of magnificent palaces-Paiyun Hall!

There are many beautiful scenery in the Summer Palace. I hope you can visit, appreciate and discover by yourself!
