Huizhou culture, unique opera art and Huaibei Huagu opera with strong local flavor

Huaibei Flower Drum was formed in Su County, and its epidemic range is generally in the north of Huaihe River, such as Su County, Dangshan County, Xiaoxian County, Lingbi County, Sixian County, Mengcheng, Yang Guo, Bengbu, Huainan and Shouxian County. One or two hundred years ago, some folk songs were popular in Huaibei. Villagers often sang songs to amuse themselves, and sometimes they added some dance moves. Later, some folk acrobatics were absorbed, such as "four doors and eight forks" and "topping people", which formed a small folk song and dance and became the original form of Huaibei ancient painting drama. Later, under the pressure of life, there appeared some professional artists who made a living by singing. They wrote and sang some short stories, such as The West Chamber and Romance of the Three Kingdoms. They gradually changed from singing short stories to singing long stories, from individual singing to group performance, and finally set up a more formal class club, which can sing small plays or this drama. There are 170 traditional dramas.

The vocals of ancient paintings in Huaibei are all gradually developed from folk songs. Male voices include Suzhou, Peyo, Kouzi, Feiban, Wuzi Beng, etc. Male and female singers include bitter flow tune, orchid tune, paste tune and foot-catching tune.
