Illustration of deflation of old radiator How to deflate old radiator without deflation valve?

As the temperature drops, more and more families use radiators to keep warm. Generally, radiators will be deflated when they are not hot, but some families install old-fashioned radiators without deflation valves. What is the schematic diagram of old radiator deflation? How can an old-fashioned heater deflate without a deflation valve? After the radiator deflates, the indoor temperature can rise rapidly. The following small series introduces the deflation method of the old radiator.

Preparation tools: flat screwdriver (flat screwdriver), empty mineral water bottle, scissors, linen and big basin.

1. Prepare the mineral water bottle first. Leave a hole near the empty mineral water bottle and insert the heating valve.

2. Align the bottle mouth of mineral water with the heating valve, and then use a screwdriver to find the position of the valve when the bottle is worn.

3. The flat mouth of the screwdriver must be completely inserted into the position of the heating valve, and then unscrew the valve to loosen it, and there will be a sound of deflation.

4. The heating valve needs more exhaust. When it exhausts, the valve will start to drain, and exhaust and water will be produced at the same time.

5. How long it takes to deflate depends on your family situation. Without the sound of gas, the gas in the radiator will be exhausted.

6. After the heating valve is deflated, screw it back with a screwdriver.

How can an old-fashioned heater deflate without a deflation valve?

Old-fashioned heating has no exhaust valve, and waste gas is discharged together with floor heating water. The floor heating water separator is the control center of the whole indoor geothermal heating. It has the functions of shunt and partial pressure. When the heat medium flows into the room, it enters the main rod of the water separator after passing through the multifunctional filter. In this link, the filter filters out impurities in the heat medium to prevent impurities from entering the underground pipe network and blocking the pipeline.

The main rod is installed horizontally, and the heat medium is evenly distributed on the branch pipes by using the principle of equal height and equal pressure. After passing through the heat exchange system, each branch pipe flows back to the main pole and then flows into the heating system through the water inlet.

In addition, the water mixing device is added in the self-heating system, that is to say, after heat exchange, the temperature of the heat medium (water) is still very high, and after passing through the water mixing system, it flows into the main rod of the water separator to continue circulating, thus saving energy while heating.

The above is the diagram and method of old radiator deflation. If the old radiator at home is not hot, it can be solved by deflation. If you still use an old-fashioned heater without a vent valve, you can deflate it according to the above method. Although the radiator can be deflated to solve the problem of overheating, it will overheat if it is deflated for too long, so it only takes one or two minutes to close the deflation valve.
